The Geo marker is a vanilla AutoCAD widget. IOW turn it off, and if you want
a marker to be at an exact location create a block with your own symbol and
use that.

I've been tinkering around with the geo-marker functionality in Map 3D 2010,
but I'm mystified as to how to position the thing. I would like to set it
to an exact lat/long of my choosing. I don't want to use the tiny map in
the dialogue box and I'd prefer not to use x-y coordinates. My drawing is
projected in LL84 so I assumed that Map could figure it out. If Map can't
figure it out then how do I convert the lat/long to x-y coordinates to get
the geo-marker in an exact location? Any assistance is appreciated.
