Jaggy lines when plotting to pdfs

Sometimes when plotting to pdfs, I'll end up with some of the lines looking jaggy or fussy. For some reason they're more prevalent near the viewport window. It doesn't happen all the time so I'm miffed. I've include two screenshots; one from CAD and one from the pdf (with the thicker lines highlighted).

Sometimes? There is no fix for that, it usually means you used a different PDF driver or plot parameters/named pagesetup. DIg deeper next time it happens, compare to a working file.
