Installation Errors for Map 3D 2006

Hi,

I'm getting errors when installing the upgrade.

The first one is:

Internal Error 2908.
{2F50FBD-4FB3-40660A527-C4039E6A0997}

That appears just before it starts installing files. I click OK and everything continues as it should until just after the registry entries when I get this error:

Eroor 1935. An error occured during the installation of assembly ;stdol, Version="7.0.3300.0",PublicKeyToken="B03F5F7F11D50A3A",GUID="00020430-0000-0000-c000-000000000046",LCID="1033'". Please refer to Help and Support for more information. HRESULT: 0x80131047

I have the option to click OK on that. I do that and the installation rolls back completely and leave me with a log file, which I've attached. Help and Support proved as useful as the message above.

If anyone could point me in the right direction to find a solution that would be great.

That seems to be a dot net framework error, I received it many times in
testing and was never able to get around it completely. I was hoping it was
fixed in the final release or would provide the installer more info. Only
thing I know for you to check is the version of dot net framework, and if
you have any newer "beta" versions of software from any other product
installed. I had trouble getting it to work with Microsoft Visual Basic
Express installed.
