Is the viewport (frame) on a layer that’s turned off or frozen?

When I click on the drawing I see the frame but not the layout tools and when I click on the background for the layout tools to appear I lose the frame. Is there any command that can be given so that I can add the layout tools as required?

Hi @hagayisaharov1

The frame, also called the Viewport, sits on a Layer. You need to check the whether the frame’s Layer is turned OFF or FROZEN.

Open the Layer Properties Manager to check your Frame’s layer and verify whether it’s ON and not FROZEN.

I don’t know the name of your viewport’s Layer. Whatever it is, that layer must be ON and THAWED. Or you may move it to another Layer that’s already ON or THAWED.
