error in loading Map 3D

When opening Map 3D 2015 received the atached error(Customation file load failed) and menu ribbon does't apear.  Also receive no reponse when trying to to attach a map in AutoCad C3D locks up when loading IDM_DRAWING_ATTACH. What my options remedy the my problem. Thanks, Doug

Doug,

Most members on this Forum won't open a .docx file for fear of a virus. For screen shots, better to use a .png either attached or inserted into the body of your text.

You could also post your drawing for testing.

I reinstalled MAP 3D and I’m still getting error messages.

When you re-installed the software did you do it as the Administrator?

We could try doing a couple of things (as administrator):

1-Reset AutoCAD Map 3D 2015 to default settings

2-Run a Repair on the program

3-If you had your settings already exported and back up, you can go ahead and import them.  That should overwrite the entire setup of AutoCAD Map 3D.

The error messages you're getting are typical caused by missing or damaged settings files.  Running the repair or reinstalling are usually what's needed.
