Dimensions not showing properly

Dear al I have a problem. When measuring the distance between points the distance is correct.

However, when I click dimension and linear the text shows a smaller value. They should match.

What is going wrong?

The "linear dimension" value shows only the horizontal or vertical part, so as long as the two points you measured are not aligned horizontally or vertically the "aligned dimension" value will differ.

Can you upload a test-drawing with that dimensions (in case my answer was not clear or you think I'm wrong for your situation).

You are absolutely right... I was wrong. The distances I was measuring were not horizontal. Thanks a million
