creating new survey points with right elevation

Hi! I want to add new survey points with NEZ data on a blank dwg in the survey data store. Howerer, it registers only NE while Z remains at elevation 0. My drawing coordinates remain also at elevation 0. I can only add a survey point with another elevation than 0 if I write it in the table.

How do I create new survey points by plotting directly on my drawing with elevation of not zero?

Hi Alexander.

I assume that MAPIMPORT is used if I have a file with points. But I am thinking more of the possibility to create a new point directly in the model view with elevation of not zero.

select               to work with survey points

and read            to create survey points

the xyz will be in the table in the appropriate columns   E, N & Elevation

try the attached data store

on the survey tab, data & connect to it

click edit

right click the points in the list and select create a new point

enter the x,y,z

that's how I did it.  it works.  the EN & elevation are to the far right columns of the table.

is this similar to your attempt?
