Copy with base point also copies all other objects on the same layer

Hello all!

So I have some pipes in a model that I need to copy to a different drawing. Now, it doesn't matter which selection method I use (window, crossing, or click one by one), copy with a base point also copies all pipes on the same layer and in the same network. It even prompts me when I do CTRS+SHIFT+C that there are 6 objects selected, but all 10000+ pipes copy too. Any thoughts?

Hi,

If you completely close your AutoCAD then open it again, any changes?

Nope, that didn't help. Also, it doesn't matter whether I use 2022 or 2023. And it doesn't matter if I copy stuff between drawings or within a single one.

No, they aren't grouped.

Can you share a part or all of your CAD dwg file for testing?

Here is a small copy. Also, attached is the event viewer that I get upon pasting the items to a different model.

Look at the Program titelbar, this is not AutoCAD,

look at the door sign, this is not CIVIL3D

= wrong board, it's a Civil thing.

Your AutoCADMAP3D AECPipes content always act as one in AutoCADMAP3D, which is not the topic of this forum.

Sorry for the confusion, this is all actually created in Civil3D
