convert dwg to shapefile

hello,

i tried to convert .dwg to shapfile and i received an error that the attributes are missing in the mapshape site.

why the attributes is missing ?

and when i did the order mapexport in AutoCAD 3D map, the command (select polygon topology to export are off.

can you please help me and send the the steps in details.

Which command do you have and which data do you have in your drawing?

You need at minimum 3 files to send a shp-dataset to another software, SHP, SHX and DBF ... the message you describe looks like you only have sent the SHP-file.

Other files can be created too, so e.g. the PRJ-file is very important as it describes the coordinate system used for the SHP-dataset. Whereas the IDX file should be deleted (it will be recreated automatically by the system).
