change style for reference system style

any way to change the style of reference system style? I want that solid line change by cross tick. I use autocad map 2012. thanks.

Sorry, AutoCAD does not permit you to change the the line type, the line color, or the line weight when using the Reference System  function. You are only allowed to change the text height of the numbers surrounding the viewport. Select an individual mtext=>right click=>select all=>go to Properties Palette and change the Paper Text Height.
