AutoCad Map 3D 2015 - Problem drawing PL while switching tabs

Hey!

When I’m with two or more opened dwg files and I’m drawing a PL in one of them, the PL command is automatically shut down when I switch between tabs.

In older versions (Map 14, 13 and 2012) it was possible to switch tabs without shut down the command.

Is it possible to work on AutoCad 2015 the same way? Or is it a bug?

Thank you.

Rafael

Hello

Welcome to the Autodesk/AutoCAD Forums !

Just a quick "stupid" idea : Have you installed the SP 3 on your MAP 2015 ?

Hi,

Because of removed fiber in AutoCAD 2015 this is not possible any more, only one command can be active within an AutoCAD session. Changing from one document to anohter one ends the command.

If that helps: >>>click<<<

open two or three concurrent incidences of AD with a dwg in each.   when you change windows the cursor will pick up where you left off.  Just click on the window header to get the mouse to the window and continue drawing.
