ALT TAB not functioning normaly

When i have multiple! drawings open in MAP 3D, ALT TAB does't work normal anymore.
When i want to switch between autocad and Excel, I can switch from excel to Autocad with one ALT TAB. When switching back from Autocad to excel one ALT TAB keeps my in Autocad and it requires ALT 2x TAB to switch back to excel. How do i fix that?

No, but mostly i do have more drawings open.

With only one drawing open the function ALT TAB works fine.

It helps for my too!

The Autodesk icon in the taskbar shows now only 1 drawingpicture in stead of my 2 open drawings when hovering over it, but that' s no problem for me.

It is a bug that Autodesk needs to fix.

Yes, I know that it shows only one tab..  So You may find it convenient to walk through the CAD drawings with "CTRL+TAB"  🙂

Just chiming in... this worked for me. TASKBAR variable was "1". Switched it to "0".  Not sure how it ever got messed up in the first place. Been driving me just crazy enough not to go look for a solution amidst everything else.

the "solution" is not to set "taskbar to 0".  the ISSUE is that you cant "set taskbar to 1" without breaking your alt+tab functionality.  it is absurd that after all these years, this is still broken.  I need to be able to see numerous drawings in alt+tab and the windows taskbar, but i cannot because it breaks alt+tab.

Here are the ways to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help:
https://www.autodesk.com/support/account/manage/use/support#:~:text=com/plans.-,Contact%20support,-S...

And/or ask Autodesk for a future program change here, do it often and encourage a few thousand others to do the same

the concept of having to waste my time to beg autodesk to fix a very obviously broken feature is absurd.  a $2800/year program should have issues fixed promptly.

you do you, but reality is they can't fix what no one complains to them directly and constantly to them 100% of the time: Autodesk is giant corporation with 1000s of interested, looking around here for "what to fix" ain't one of them, never has been in decades, still is not. And they sure as heck don't go back to fix anything all of us just never suffer from 100% of the time that stops us all from paying.

Enjoy your soapbox stance!
