About metic Map Book Template files

Hello,

I notice that there is an issue with the following metric files:

  • Map Book Template ISO A0 classic.dwt (metric)
  • Map Book Template ISO A1 classic.dwt (metric)
  • Map Book Template ISO A2 classic.dwt (metric)
  • Map Book Template ISO A3 classic.dwt (metric)

The tiles seems ok but the related layout is shift (see attached figures). I try to fix them by “Identify template placeholder” but I do not succeed.

The imperial template Map Book Template 11x17 Classic.dwt is OK

Many thanks for any clarifications on this issue.

Ennine,

I don't understand the problem. Can you elaborate a little?

Dear Dave,

I apologize to reply very late.

Kindly find attached a quick video showing an example with Map Book Template ISO A0 classic.dwt (metric).

We notice that the “zoom tile” is offset from the “zoom layout”.

Many thanks in advance for any helps.

Best regards

I am having the same problem with the 11x17 Imperial template in 2017.  Is there a fix for the tile shift?

Hi Dixon,

I notice that Map Book with imperial templates are correct (note that I use autocad Map 2017 french version), but the issue is with metric templates.

I join a video to illustrate the aforesaid.

Hi all,

is there a solution for this?

I have some DWT files that show this shift - others do not. I tried to change my DWT with SCALE to make it work but I was not sucessfull.

Do you have an idea?

Best regards,

Paul

Hi Paul,

It appears that this is an issue with the type of file templates. I hope that the specialists of this forum would consider this issue soon.

Hi @ennine

Is there a way I can work with my DWT file that includes this issue? Or can I only choose another Map Book Template?

I already tried to change the Units of this DWT file but it had not effect...

Best regards,

Paul
