Proximity / Radius Search

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has done a radius search or has a link with information about it.
What we are trying to do is perform a spatial search using certain where predicates.
For instance, given an x/y coordinate pair, we would like to know what manhole ID, pipe size, pin etc that are within a 500 ft or 1 mile radius of the point.

I know this is kind of tough, at least for me but if anyone has any info, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hello chinedu.

This should be a fairly simple procedure using Map...

- Attach your source dwg
- Perform a quick view (so you can see the point you need to specify)
- Execute a Location based query using Circle as your boundary type, click define and specify the center pt and radius of your circle and execute the query.
