Zoom Undo

In my full version of AutoCAD 2000 if i used the undo command having previously used zoom it would ignore the zoom and o back to the last command

eg.

it would undo just the pline and ignore the zoom command. in lt 2002 everytime i press undo it undoes the zoom command aswell.
Is this a system variable that i can switch off.
any help wouold be much appreciated.

that's a very unusual version of AutoCAD 2000. The UNDO
command in AutoCAD undoes everything except file writes. That includes changes
in the display.

Scoot9,

Same applies to full version.

From what I can gather nothing much can be done about it.
2008 offers no relief.
