Why does it take 3 attempts to open an Autocad file?

First attempt: AutoCAD gets hung up on the splash page, forever loading. I have to close out of it.

Second attempt: AutoCAD opens to a blank drawing but the file that I am trying to open never opens.

Third attempt: File in question finally opens.

I have to do this every time I boot up my laptop. What could possibly be causing this?

Your AutoCADLT year version is....?
did you reset your LT yet to try and fix the issue? Always something to try too.

Your OS is....? Is this OS the default that came with your PC or did you just install it?
