turn off extensions (no, not that kind!)

I've turned off Object Snap Tracking but I'm still getting this Extension line which is making precision drawing impossible.

 

There's got to be a way to turn it off.

Fist of all you can choose where you want to track from if you right click on Otrack. Otherwise make sure the extension snap is turned off by Right Clicking on OSNAP > Settings > Clear the check mark next to Extension.

I never would have looked in OSnap. I associate that with point snaps but leave it to Autodesk to put a tracking snap there.

Thank you! This was driving me nuts in C3d 2019. I would never have thought to look in the object snap settings
