toolbars move every time I open autocad

I lock my tool bars and turn off my dynamic input and then save my work space but a few toolbars always move and my dynamic input is on every time I open Auotcad. I am using AutoCAD 2018 LT.

May I ask why you're not using the Ribbon instead of toolbars?

Are these custom toolbars or stock/standard toolbars?

Post a screenshot of your full screen BEFORE you close AutoCAD (showing where you ant them) and a screenshot right-after you open AutoCAD before you do anything else in the program.

I don't like the Ribbons, I prefer the standard toolbars, they aren't custom just the standard available tool bars.

screenshot one is what is set up before I close autocad 2018LT,

screenshot two is what my screen looks like when I open autocad 2018 LT

some stay where I put them but only a few want to move and make there own "line".

Unlock the UI, Move the layer toolbar from it's current position, float it in your drafting screen, Move the others behind it up a row so they are the third row, WSSAVE your workspace, lock your UI, close and restart LT2018. Do the other toolbars stay in place?

that didn't work, yes the other tool bars above stay and don't move.

Now this is happening, my model and layout tabs move up and down, I took screen shots of them, with the tabs up and then move back down there is a space between them, that is really weird.

What exactly did not work? Explain please.

For this new observation, that was a feature added in LT2016, you can turn it off as explained here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Model-...

I unlocked my toolbars, moved the ones at the bottom to the third row, saved my workspace, locked my toolbars, closed and reopened and doing that didn't seem to work.

And you remembered to move the LAYER toolbar offscreen so it is no longer docked anywhere on top but floating in the middle of your screen like you have all the palettes, right? Read my last post more carefully if not. let us know.

ok I did not leave my layer toolbar floating the first time so this time I left my layer toolbar floating in the middle of the screen, moved the other toolbars in row three, wssave my workspace, locked my toolbars closed it, and this is how it looks when I open autocad. the third row only will keep one toolbar anymore than that autocad have the other toolbars start on row 4.

And that is what I have confirmed here: at the moment there is no fix except to dock your third row items to the sides.

Any reason you don't dock your floating toolbars?

OK thanks for the help I really appreciate it, hopefully there will be a fix soon. I've had my floating toolbar's like that for a while now, I guess I'm just use to it.

any idea about the other issue I mentioned, about the tabs moving up and down?

I tried the right click and then dock my tabs inline with status bar but it still jumps up and down

The tip said to: "Right-click on one of the tabs and choose "Dock above Status Bar."
It also suggested "...turn off some of the status bar items to make it shorter."

Try these.

from our previous conversation you confirmed that the third row only will keep one toolbar and at the moment there is no fix except to dock your third row items to the sides.

just wondering if you've heard anything about a possible fix from Autodesk for this problem is Autocad 2018 LT yet?

Toolbars and Classic Workspaces are legacy items in AutoCAD: I seriously doubt Autodesk is putting any effort into them these days.
