Hi guys,

Then, my "issue" I have text in Wingdings theorically above solid hatch.

Right clic hatch -> send to back

However when I print in pdf, the text is NOT appearing !

See, NO 1, 2, 3, 4

But it is on normal paper print...

Any idea ? Thanks.

a) "However when I print in pdf, the text is NOT appearing !"
b) "But it is on normal paper print..."

One Question:
a) is clear, but
b1) do you print the pdf from a) or b2) do you mean paper-print from Acad directly?

If b1 - Share your pdf

If b2 - I don't know why, but check the "incl. all Fonts" option.

command PLOT, select DWG to PDF.pc3 [PDF options] -> "capture fonts used in .." and try it again.

If you like, upload a dwg sample too.

Wingding? they appear as ARIAL font here in your file. It also appears to be a draworder problem in your file, not much else

Even CHSPACE of those objects is a fix, except the #1 for whatever reason.

Strange... very strange...

If I download your version and print it in pdf, text is still missing... (I draw and additional vertical line to indentify this version)

Printscreen of your version (text in the layout and Wingdings style)

and the pdf result:

Weird indeed: I used LT2019.1.2 in WIndow10Pro to create the PDF (DWG to PDF.PC3 driver) as well as edit your file.

There is no problem with draworder or with arial, the drawing is ok.

There is a big problem with these special characters of Wingdings and the result is different from one product(version) to another one.

2018 and 2019 display different results and if you like to the the "1" (but numbers 2-4 as a rectangle), it is possible too LOL.

I can reproduce pendeans result in AutoCAD 2019 and your result in 2018 (with 'dwg to pdf.pc3')

There is a problem that you can not fix, so use another workarounds for your goal (i prefer block&attributes / Arial)

OK, thanks

I'll go with the block/attribute solution.
