Skew / Distort from a Rectangle block to a Parallelogram?

Good evening,

I have a rectangle block with a design within the middle and I wish to skew / distort it into a parallelogram. I can do this in Adobe Fireworks using a distory command which lets you distort each corner or the image.

Does Autocad LT have this feature?

Regards, James.

Without seeing your design and the type of elements it contains, the answer is no, probably still be no if you posted the dwg. The geometry in AutoCAD is individual items even creating a group or block they don't become linked in the same way as an image is made up. You could export the area as an image file and then distort it using imaging software, but it wouldn't be possible from within AtoCAD LT.

What you want is similar to Rhino's shear command. It can be easily achieved with Lee Mac's 2D Project
