Sheet Sets: Change Sheet Template of Existing Sheets

Is there an efficient way to change the sheet template for one of more existing sheets in a sheet set?

For example, I have a project set up on 8.5x11 sheets for easy printing during the early phases of design.  Now I want to change the size to 11x17 so I can increase the scale and add more detail.  My sheet template includes a titleblock, so I can't just change the page setup.  I want to be able to choose several or all of the sheets and apply the new 11x17 sheet template to all of them at once.  I expect that I'll have to change the scale of each view and the formatting manually.  But I want to avoid recreating every sheet from scratch.  Is there a way to do that?

Thanks.

If I understood your need... A letter sized titleblock doesn't fit on a tabloid sized sheet either, so I'm not sure what all you would be saving (time) sine it appears you have a lot to change on every sheet.

The sheets were created using an 8.5x11 template that includes the title block.  Now I want to apply an 11x17 template that includes the title block so that I don't have to place every view on every sheet again and then rename and renumber all the views.  I have tried going into each sheet individually, changing the page setup to 11x17 and placing the 11x17 title block, but for some reason, the fields don't generate correctly when I do that.  And it's rather tedious, even if it did work correctly.

Hi @Anonymous,

Sheetset templates are designed to be used for creating new sheets so I don't think it is going to work for existing ones. Have you been able to get this project set working? If not and you need help, you can etransmit the set to me and let me know what is not yet working and I am happy to see if I can help.

That's a bummer, but it's what I suspected.  Thank you.
