Setting a grrid of coordinates on your layout

Just looking for how to set a coordinate system along the edges of the layout so as to show location on the pdf. In CAD Lt obviously. Files have come in on a coordinate system already.

Thanks

Try start drawing lines vertically and horizontally at coordinates #0,0 to represent start positions for vertical and horizontal grids and then you can array them in the positive direction to complete your layout grid

Now when AutoCAD LT 2024 supports LISP, you can use a grid-making tool like DrGrid (free) - see:

Thanks for this. It doesn't add coordinates though?

But ideally I would like to add the grid to the layout page in the model coordinate system.

I know there is a way to do this but I cannot remember how to do it.

Coordinates (at least "outside" the grid) can be added through the Setup option in the DrGrid command. But if you have some general idea of the display style of the coordinates at each intersection, we can add it.

Could you help with how to add the coordinates as a label when setting up the grid please? In CAD LT.

Thanks

Like this?

This is now available in DrGrid V1.4 - but of course the requirements for the X/Y label styles might be quite different.

Image attached. I was hopping to get the coordinates to come in with automatically as the label.

There are now two types of labels - axis labels (numbers or coordinates) and grid labels (inside the grid, numbers or coordinates) - see the Setup option in DrGrid V1.4. My question was about the display style of the grid labels (rotation, size, position).

Thank you very much for your help Vladimir, I must have had an older version of DrGrid. The coordinates come in easily now which is fantastic. I can edit the labels separately from lines so I can work with this.  Thank you again for all your help!
