Replace blocks

I have hundreds of solid circles (existing poles) that I need to change to empty circles (new poles). How can I do this without doing it one by one? BLOCKREPLACE does not work. I am using autocad 2017

Is it just one block type? easiest would be to just open the block in the block editor and change how the block is drawn there. Otherwise create the new block in another drawing and use the design center to update the block.

define "solid circles" please: are they actual filled circles? or DONUT object types?
If it's one block, why not rename the block then edit it with BEDIT or REFEDIT command and remove the fill?

Following up on your thread, it appears that several folks have tried to help on this issue. Were you able to find a solution? Or a workaround? Did any of the posts in the thread help with your issue?

Would you be able to share a sample file or a screencast video of your work to better assist you with possible solutions?

Post back with any updates.

Thanks.
