It is dumb to have to reload AutoCad LT for Mac everytime backup on external drive. Aslo simple steps in adding title blocks to the 5 standard drawing sizes, and slso not loosing the layer information.

One of the ways:

Create drawing file with objects (lines, polylines, text, etc.) that compose your title block. You can use different layers in this drawing, if you need them. Than use INSERT command in drawing file with standard drawing sizes and use "Browse" button to find file you created in first step. Verify that "Explode block" is un-checked and insert this block into the drawing with standard drawing sizes.

reinstall after backup on external drive why do I have to reinstall AutoCad LT for Mac 2013? I am not sure what is happening it seems the backup takes place but occasionally when I sign into my I Mac I am given 4 choices I do not have any way of closing the window and I choose to dump the Mac hard drive to my external drive which erases the Mac drive when I reload off the external drive I do not understand why I should have to do anything since the backup takes place automatically onto my external drive?

What application do you use for automatic backup?

Is it Time Mashine, or some third parity application?

What are those 4 options during Mac login?

Do you use encrypted hard drive? And which Mac OS do you have on your Mac?

When you boot after restoring from backup:

- you can not launch AutoCAD, while it is installed on your Mac?

or

- AutoCAD seems is not installed at all on your Mac?

Where you purchased AutoCAD? MAS or Autodesk?

Does it happens frequently (restoration from backup)? Or it was only once?

Why do you do that? That's no way to back up a PC, you are for all practical intents and purposes unloading your harddrive; not backing it up.

Please answer Maxim's questions and identify what app you are using for this unusual/out-in-left-field backup method.
