recent command bar

Hello guys,

All of the sudden the text in my recent command bar is like font size 1, I can't even begin to read it. Is there a way to adjust the size in settings somewhere?

Also sometimes my trim command won't work at all, ususally when hatch is involved and I have tried exploding the lines multiple times.

Any help on either matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

@Anonymous For regular text change the default text height with the STYLE command. For dimension text use the DIMSTYLE command. For recent commands use the up and down arrow keys.

I recommend you look at screencasts or videos on how to use the trim tool, I couldn't do it alone from reading a guide.

This is not what I'm reffering to.

I know how to change text and dim text settings. My problem is with the text inside of the recent command bar at the bottom of the screen that displays all of my recent commands. It is suddenly extremely small and unreadable. For example: If I use the distance command to measure something I can't even see what the result is.

I also know how to use the trim command and the trim all command but periodically it just stops working. Especially when I'm trying to trim a hatch, even if it is exploded. I've tried copying the section of the drawing I need to trim to another file, I've also tried just closing the program and starting it back up, nothing works.

Thank you

Undock the commandline and see if it will snap back: also ensure you have SP1 installed for LT2016 to work with Win10 best.

Hatch trimming not working usually means the cut lines for that specific hatch pattern and how that pattern was applied does work. often it's simpler to erase and recreate the hatch only where you want it.

I did try undocking and putting it back, we are operating LT2009 on Windows 10, what is SP1?

Did it correct itself undocked? If yes, you'll have to live with it floating.
Also try scrolling inside the commandline window, maybe WIn10 is letting you do things you could not beforehand.

FYI LT2009 is not supported in Win10: no fixes from Autodesk or Microsoft. Visit Microsoft's website and find tips on running old unsupported software in Win10, it might or might not help.

I would put back your old OS right now, or see if buying this third party fix might cure the problem http://www.longbowsoftware.com

Good luck.

Have you tried to change the font type and size for command line? You can change it in AutoCAD options, Display tab.
