"Ambiguous Output" Error when Hatching

When I try and change existing ANSI hatch to Solid Hatch I get an 'Ambiuous Output' Error.

This only happens with some of the Hatch on the drawing. I want infact select all of the Hatch on a particular layer using the selection filters and change it all to Solid on mass. Although the process seems to be available the command fails when I choose Solid hatch giving the 'Ambiuous Output' Error

Any help will be much appreciated.

Likely the next twelve releases of AutoCAD corrected the OP's issue and there was no need to come back to it.

Or the OP found a solution outside of the Forum and choose not to share.

We could see if D-i-c-k Tracey is available to take up the case and find the reasons there of.

I just discovered the same problem. The issue is the scale. Make it smaller and it will work! Knew it had to be simple!
