When I i publish multiple A4 drawings to pdf they are not centred on the page and cut off part of the drawing. Any ideas? many thanks.

Post a picture of your plot dialog box so we can have a look at it.

The most obvious thing to try is ringed in the image below

Thanks for you reply. It is not when i use the individual print option, it only happens when i publish multiple sheets. see below my dialogue box when I publish

If you have Page Setup that works with your drawings you can select all the sheets and on the top one in the top row, in the "Page Setup" column, import the page setup that works.

If you are using the "None" option for the page setup, publish uses the default settings for that layout tab. So you will need to go into each individual tab and type PAGESETUP and tick the box OR go into a layout and create a new PAGESETUP with the settings you wish then you just have to change from the "None" page layout to the one you created. See the two images below

@peter.brodbelt PUBLISH RULE OF THUMB:
1. Launch Publish from a drawing that is not part of the publish set, but is configured with all your possible sheets and plotter options.
2. Bring in all the drawings/tabs to be published.
3. Import the pagesetup desired from the template file (in your case, one set up for exacting desired output).
4. PUBLISH.

Thanks for your comments. Found that if i simply set each page to the window option and centre to page and not use the layout this did the job. What was strange is that i could publish to the photocopier without any problems it was only when i published to pdf's. Many thanks once more to all.
