PS annotation hidden behind MS solid hatch

Hi

Suddenly I've just noticed that Paperspace annotation including leaders are hidden behind Modelspace solid hatches or fills which is most odd. Tried shadermode etc without success. Whats happening? (I want to finish and go home!)

Try the system variable 'DIMTFILL' and set it to '0'

You also may want to try the TEXTTOFRONT command.

Is this perhaps just a display issue? REGEN or REGENALL ought to fix it.
Otherwise show us a DWG file wth the problem.

Hi

I've tried editing a hatch: hatch edit -> draw order -> send to back -> ok. This change does NOT stick.

So i'we tried

Page setup manager -> plot paperspace last and this solved OP issue here.

My question now is why can't i get the hatch draw order modified

I use draworder alot and IMHO the DRAWORDER command has always been a crapshoot.  If BRING TO FRONT doesn't work try to send whats over it behind another or bring it above... whatever.   There are several manipulations, it's just a matter of how ACAD feels this AM and your creativity.  Smiley Happy

Thanks. Draworder has been part of my workflow for a while now and I've come to grips with it over the years when dealing with multiple hatches on complex drawings. However it still doesn't account for the MS/PS conflict that I've experienced here. I have a feeling it might be a bug picked up from importing other Users files. Just hope it doesn't spread Richard Smith Architects Ltd 5 Rudham Stile Lane Fakenham, Norfolk, NR21 8JL Tel: 07880 553706 (recommended) or 01328 863288 (office) E-mail: [email protected] Web: richarch.co.uk

DRAWORDER does nt work in, and as far as I know, never has worked as a tool to move modelspace content in front of content inside a viewport. DO only works with items in the same space. Most of the time 🙂

The correct answer for this one exact instance was already noted:
"Page setup manager -> plot paperspace last "
Another option: don;t put annotations in paperspace over viewports if you can avoid it.
