Populate Annotation Table With Block Attribute Values

We have blocks with physical attributes like model, weight, width etc. I can't find a method for populating a visible annotation table with these values. I'm not extracting these values outside of AutoCAD LT. I just want the attribute values to appear in an annotation table within the block. Is there a simple way of achieving this without using DATALINK or external spreadsheets?

Any ideas?

Can you post a dwg or a more visual description? You want a table inside the same block that contains the attributes? Does it need to be an AutoCAD table or is that just a way to describe the layout of the information, and is it only for use within the actual drawing?
