Hi there

I am making a publish using the sheet set manager, i am plotting only 2 sheets.

The issue is that the publish is taking to much time to print. I am making the publish to a PDF.

Is taking to much time on this...not to many sheets ton the project for this issue!

Any ideas?

HI @Anonymous,

I have a few questions to get a better idea of the issue

Would you be able to share the drawing here?

What AutoCAD version are you working in?

Have you applied any updates to your OS recently? What WIN version are running?

Thanks.

Okay when your are publishing are you publishing to the background?

  • Try publishing in foreground to see if it makes a difference: In the Publish dialog box, remove the selection from "Publish in Background."

This could be happening for a few different reasons. Are you running a WIN 7 set up?

Do you have background publishing turned on? It's slow since basically you are asking your PC to run two complex sessions of AutoCAD at the same time.

Otherwise it's the content of your files and driver you have chosen that affect how fast something publishes or plots.

the issue was that Sheet Set Publish Options has a file format setting....it was set to plot on DWF and not on PDF.

i just change it...is running good again!!
