PDF loading issue

I typically load pdf files to cad for jobs that I do.  I have one now that absolutely will not load correctly.  Its almost like the actual drawing is a picture.  I'm not exactly sure.  Have any of you had this issue?  Its a big building, and it would make my life so much easier if I could get this thing loaded.  I have attached the pdf if someone could look at it for me....

Hi,

"load pdf files"

"that absolutely will not load correctly"

Are you talking about PDFATTACH or PDFIMPORT?

>>"Its almost like the actual drawing is a picture."

It is! (raster data = image)

>>"Have any of you had this issue?"

Issue, what issue? PDF can contain vector and raster data.

>>"Its a big building, and it would make my life so much easier if I could get this thing loaded."

3x "LOADED", start to talk in AutoCAD jargon, which command?

Start cour command, look into the log [F2], you can see the command name.

that's because this is a raster pdf and not a vector pdf. you can always PDFAttach and then draw over it

Your PDF is a scan, aka a fuzzy picture: AutoCAD does not convert scans or pictures. You will need to either buy a 3rd party program that can do the conversions, or you can attach it as a picture then trace over it.

If you are subscriber to AutoCAD (not LT), aka you pay Autodesk annually, the free RASTER DESIGN add-on to AutoCAD (not LT) can help you clean up some of the mess as you draw over it all
