Pasted Item has "Frame" or Box

I'm trying to paste an image from an MS Word document.  Not exactly sure what kind of object it is, (Bitmap?).  When I paste it into an AutoCAD LT drawing, it always shows up with a box around it. Lke a frame.

I'd like to remove the box, but can't seem to find a way to get rid of it.

Any thoughts?

FRAME, OLEFRAME or IMAGEFRAME commands perhaps?
