One Layout Page with snap issues

The file I am working with in AutoCAD LT 2016 seems to have a bug. Whenever I try to paste or move an object in one of the layouts, the object tries to snap to an unseen grid, prompt a dynamic dimension input, and a symbol pops up at the snap location. This drawing was working fine last week and all other layouts are acting normally. I have reset all snaps, grids, tracking, etc. and nothing has changed. A co-worker opened this file in AutoCAD 2016 and had the same issue.

I avoided solving the problem and just made a new layout from one of the working layouts. But I would really like to know what happened and how this layout broke?!?!?!?! Help?

Hi,

Can you post the drawing file? It's difficult to tell what is happening just looking at the image.

Cheers,

Volker

Press F9 on your keyboard and make sure SNAP is turned off perhaps? There is nothing wrong with the file you posted, it's not doing what you describe in either layout.

Using F9 to turn the snaps off fixed the problem. I had used different commands and the bottom bar to toggle snap on and off. I didn't realize the snaps could differ between layouts.

Thank you for your response.
