Non Uniform Scale calculation

How do I calculate scale for  ScaleX, Y or Z separately . I have a 2 feet window block that needs to be 3’-6” high. On property pallet Scale for X, Y, Z are shown at 1.300  ( not sure what this number represents). I wanted to know how do I increase the window height to be 3’-6” in Y direction only. I guess scale Y  needs to be tweaked to a larger number but I can only guess. Any help on figuring out that math would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

The 1.3 means that the block is 1.3 times it's drawn size.

You need to go into the block and untick "Scale Uniformly".

Then you need to measure what the base length and height of the block are and then change the scales appropriately

eg for your 2 x 2 block you need to change the x scale to 1.5 and the y scale to 3 to get a 3 x 6 block

In the Block properties when you are editing the block. See the image below

Can you please show me how to do the math to increase or decrease scale without exploding the block ?

Math for this example “ eg for your 2 x 2 block you need to change the x scale to 1.5 and the y scale to 3 to get a 3 x 6 block”

To increase you divide your new block size by your old block size.

To decrease you divide your old block size by your new block size.

It's that simple even a schoolkid could do it.
