When I create a new drawing file there are no fonts when using the text or dim command, there is only a square box. On older dwg files, the text and dimensions are inserted and can be manipulated. I can copy new drawing to old drawing and the text and dimension fonts appear normally. When I copy back to original drawing the fonts turn into empty box. Can't figure out what is wrong.
You turned on QTEXT or QTEXTMODE, or the default font being used by the default text style is missing or 'squares'. You tell us which one it is, you have the files.
