No Matching Media Error

My company uses Leadtools for plotting our drawings to to PNG's.

We used to use AutoCAD LT 2013 with Leadtools ePrint 5 and never had a problem.

Since upgrading to AutoCAD LT 2017 and Leadtools ePrint 6 we've been getting a "No matching media" error message when plotting.

Everything is setup in the same way as to what we previously used but it just doesn't want to work.

What's odder is that upon first installation it worked fine 3 or 4 times, then broke.

Greatly appreciate help on this. Smiley Happy

Welcome to the Forums

Never heard of it.

What's wrong with the inbuilt PUBLISHTOWEB PNG.PC3 printer?

You will need to contact the creators of that tool for support.

If you plot to PDF or another printer does the issue still happen there?

If not as a workaround could use a different printer if the manufacturer of Leadtools is unable to assist you.

Plot to PDF works fine an so does a custom PC3 plotter.

Leadtools are trying to find a solution as my company brought quite a few licences.

Okay, if you continue to have an issue after speaking with Leadtools post back with any additional information.

Thanks.

I get the same error with Adobe PDF but only when using PLOT.  When using PUBLISH (BATCHPLOT) it works fine.

This is common when the supporting files have been moved from the relevant folder on your computers C:/ Drive. This has moved the path meaning the program you are using cannot associate the process it used to. Check application files or try redownloading the program if you aren't confident searching through program files.

I've come to this thread in search of the same issue, mine is Autocad Mechanical 2019, and i have a blank layout page with my projected views in the middle. when i go to print for some reason it wont let me print in letter paper size. also im not using a add-on to make prints im using the native plotter tool.

"won't let me" doesn't tell us much sadly. Try another printer or plotter or PDF driver, does that work to get letter sized output?

Sorry i did say that i had the same exact issue as the first guy, its saying no matching media?? thats all it told me so thats all i know.. i gave you all the information. But it works fine if i use ledger. and honestly not even looking for a fix, mainly just want to know what " no matching media" actually means, what causes this error to show?

"no matching media" is a driver issue, nothing to do with AutoCAD: did you try the test I asked by printing to that letter paper size on other printers and PDF drivers?

Are you using a PC3 file (which is only set to ledger)? or plotting to the Windows system driver? What is this printer/plotter with the issue?
