new workstation > problem showing linetypes with lwdisplay enabled

hi folks,

i switched to a new workstation with a fresh install of acad lt 2024

howerever i encounter strange behaviour i never encounterd in +10 years autocad. On the previous setup everything behave like it should (displaying lineweights)

with parameter LWDISPLAY (show line widths) enabled

in modelspace and paperspace

version autocad LT : U 63.0.0

units: mm

msltscale = 1, psltscale = 1, ltscale = 1

lines, polylines, circles and arcs are shown correctly when dotted, dashed, center etc linetypes applied

however when i change thickness (e.g. 0.4mm) straight lines do not show. Only the essential points are marked with a kind of dot. Even texts in blocks have this issue.

I made a test set, see attachment.

 any thoughts regarding solving this problem ? Perhaps an update i missed ?

Regards,

Harold

At the command line type GFXDX12. Change the value to 0. See the link below
