New Page Setup will not save

Hi

I am trying, in vane, to batch plot multiple dwg files to pdf's.

I have a pdf reader/writer (Bluebeam Extreme), but the plugin will not work (I have sent an email to Bluebeam to see if hey can sort it out).

So, I tried using the batchplot, but kept getting stuck when I had added multiple dwg's, using Publish, and then tried to change the page setup by right-clicking the files. The new page setup I had just created wass not available, apart from the dwg I created it in.

I hadn't notcied until now, as I usually use the Previous Plot dropdown when plotting, but whenever I create a new Page Setup, it is no longer in the dropdown combo box whenever I open up a new file, or even in the file I created it in if I close it down and reopen.

I am using AutoCAD LT 2010 with Windows 7 Professional, 32 Bit.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

PUBLISH command quick guide:
In a blank drawing make a page setup you want to print with.
Open one of the drawings you wish to publish.
Start PUBLISH command.
Hit the Add Sheets button.
Go through all of the folders adding the drawings.
Shift select all of the sheets.
Open the page setup drop down and import the page setup you made previously in the blank sheet
Hit Publish.

Ideally, the 'blank sheet' is actually a template file you save/have saved and can use more often.

Many thanks pendean. Worked like a charm. I hadn't thought about saving a template.
Strange how I can't save in the Page Setup Manager though?
However, this works just as well and will save me a couple of hours of creating individual pdf's from individual dwg.s.
