When I double-clicked my old Microsoft mouse scroll wheel the drawing went to zoom extents.

Now I have a Logitech MX Master, can I set the square button next to the top scroll wheel to do the same. If it can be done, the obvious question is.....HOW!

Any help would, as usual, be greatly appreciated!

Install the Logitech SetPoint software.  Then you can assign specific keyboard buttons/functions to the buttons on the mouse, for specific programs.  Tilt-wheel buttons can be difficult to properly control when working with CAD, normally I assign those to "No function" so they don't get in the way of the actual middle button.

Not familiar with the MX Master, but on all Logitech mice I've had there's only one "square button" and that's for toggling the wheel from indents to free-wheeling.  That feature's entirely mechanical and cannot be programmed.

Thanks for the reply. My previous mouse was a Logitech 560 and it was not possible to programme the wheel as could be done on the original Microsoft mouse. I thought the same would apply to the new MX mouse. After talking to Logitech, it appears that double clicking the top wheel does zoom all, and I hadn't tried it because it didn't work on the 560!

So........problem solved without having to do anything.
