Model space viewport annotation scales

Hi

If I have multiple viewports in model space can I have a different annotation scale for each? When I switch the annotation scale it switches for all viewports in model space?

Thanks

pendean, thanks for your reply.

I am aware of the viewport scale tab. However what I would like to do is have 2 viewports in model space each with a separate scale. This is possible in paper space but changing the scale in model space changes all the viewports to the same scale.

Sorry, only paperpsace, I misunderstood, that does not apply to modelspace: modelspace is 'reality", you cannot have "reality" appear in two scales.

Yes pendean, it seems not.

I intend to scale different views at different scales in paper space so would be useful to have different scales in model space so the annotative dims and notes are shown correctly for each view ... if you understand what i mean?

No problem though, I can change the annotative scale to suit

Explore VPMAX command: let's you work inside a selected viewport as-if-you-were-in-modelspace. Pretty cool. Remember to use VPMIN command to get back to the layout and out of the viewport.
