Missing cursor drop down menu

I a looking for assistance with a problem that I am struggling to describe fully. The problem occurred while working in AutoCAD LT 2017 without knowingly changing any settings.

The problem is that the drop down menu (or dialog box?) that often appear next to the cursor is not longer appearing. For example:

Cursor in middle of empty drawing.

Right click to open menu

Menu does not appear

To give another example:

Select "Fillet" to create a fillet

Press "down key" on my keyboard and normally a menu would appear that allows me to change the settings of the fillet, e.g. Radius

That menu now does not appear

Another example:

If I select "move"

Then select an object

I can move the object in a direction before typing a number to provide the distance I want to move it

That number used to appear in a box next to the cursor however it no longer does

If I still type the number and hit "enter" then the object will move that distance, I just can't see what was typed.

Apologies if I have not explained the problem very well however because it is in relation to something missing it is difficult to provide images showing what I mean. I have attached some images of a Youtube video that shows the menu that is missing.

"AutoCAD Menu 1" - the box next to the cursor which says "Select first object or "

"AutoCAD Menu 2" - the box next to the cursor which has a menu including "Enter, Cancel..." etc.

I am running AutoCAD LT 2017 on Windows 10 64 bit

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Are you talking about DYNMODE or QPMODE (look up both in HELP and turn them on)?

Thank you so much. This was such a simple problem but one I could not work out from the info AutoCAD provide online.

Have turned on DYNMODE and that has sorted it.

Thanks again
