I have ACAD Lt 2019- Current and licensed and activated. When I try to open the program to use it I am told that License checkout timed out, and the program closes. How do I get my program opened.?

Yes- thank you very much. It needed an Autodesk Licensing Service Update. I
don't see why the pop-up warning that shuts everything down, can't simply
have the courtesy of saying- "you need to go to your account and download
the Autodesk licensing service update." Simple. I hate the way Autodesk
provides nothing to those who aren't on their subscription treadmill.

I had the same problem. Now I'm also wondering how can you use the program when the internet is down. Or better yet, when I'm working on a job site in the middle of nowhere with no cell service, much less internet. I paid for it so I should be able to use it anywhere and anytime like before the Holy Subscription Service showed up.

You will get better mileage by not asking your question in a thread that has already been solved.

Your question is also better suited in the Installation and Licensing forum.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

AutoCAD calls home for a license check every 30-days: most folks can work within parameter, if not, another non-subscription CAD program may be in your future.
