On a weekly basis I draw the files for 2D flat product components, that are then cut and assembled. We work in layers of different materials, wood, glass, sheet metal so the structure directly related to one another i.e matching holes, are offset from one another, but otherwise are the same shape. The rules/parameters of the shapes/structures are all the same it's just the dimensions and occasional added feature that are bespoke from one order to the next. Is there way any way of speeding up this process? Is there a way of creating a master drawing per model type and then just inputting dimensions and running a programme generate to the corresponding layers and internal structures based on our rule set?
