There is no Arabic language pack for AutoCAd/LT2016.

Read these for more options https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=how%20to%20use%20arabic...

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting your question. Do you have a specific font file you're trying to install? SHX or TTF?

Some general guidance for installing and troubleshooting fonts can be found here:

In addition to @pendean's recommendation, you may also find these articles/resources helpful specifically regarding Arabic fonts in AutoCAD:

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I posted a few resources for Arabic fonts in my other post just before yours. Could you take a look at those resources and let me know if they help you find what you're looking for?

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to the Autodesk community!

To add to the thread, if you need a simple and quick way to get Arabic fonts you could also try to use the options available in the symbols. Look at the video below.

Emmsley, how do you know that's "A" for Arabic when you select letter and paste it (I saw your video)

Hi @Anonymous,

I had a colleague show me the option to use symbols to add Arabic... Do you not see the letters you need or want in the drop down list?

Sarah, there are so many words I have to use like, Highway, cross country, run flat, load select and so on. If you can give me a patch or something I can put to my AutoCAD 2016 on font selection list that would be nice. By typing to your keyboard like "HIGHWAY" it will show Arabic. I'm using this for company purposes, we have a client from Saudi that they want Arabic on their controllers.

Thanks Sarah for being a patient.

Alex

There is no such tool in AutoCAD (or most other programs).

Hi @Anonymous,

I don't believe there is a feature that you are looking for in AutoCAD.

Maybe as a recommendation make a template of the words/phrases you'll need by using the suggestions from the above posts.

I'd also recommend you leave feedback here for our development team: https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback
