Installing Civil 3D Object Enabler for AutoCAD LT

I have installed AutoCAD LT 2016 and downloaded and tried to install the Civil 3D Object Enabler.   The following prompt is what I get, and I can't continue with the setup:

"Setup was unable to detect any target applications for Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D 2016 64 Bit Object Enabler". 

Please advise how or what I need to do in order to complete the installation.

LT2016 needs to have been run at least once and be the default DWG application on your PC before the OE will find it and install.
