Hi.
I have a licence of AutoCad LT 2008 that i bought from a dealer in Norway in 2008. The program is running fine on my old pc - and i only use this program about 3 to 4 times a year.
Now - i have installed this on my new pc and AutoCad LT 2008 will only working for 30 days. What can i do for using this program after 30 days ?
I have paid  fullprice for this software in 2008 and i expect this will still run on my new pc without no
trials-periode. What do i do ?

How do i activate this AutoCad LT 2008 again on my new pc ?

Thanx a lot.

Unfortunately, that isn't going to be an option. Keep hold of your old computer and treat it with care because that is the only way you can (maybe) use the 2008 software. Anything older than 2010 can no longer be activated.

AutoCAD/LT2008 is not supported in Win10, which means Autodesk is not interested ever in helping http://autode.sk/1IY4C2X

Autodesk also killed of reauthorizing of 2010 and older software as of August 31 2019, again, Autodesk is not interested in legacy software https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/previous-ver...

Time to upgrade or, if available, hold on to your old PC/installation forever or until it chokes too.

You can do nothing else with LT2008 today, it is a dead software product.

Well - iam not seeking any support or updates - dont need it. But i was expecting that the sotfware should still work with no support/updates connection - which i paid for fullprice in 2008.

THIS IS SAD AUTODESK - AND NOT SERIOUS.

You paid for a program that worked on Windows XP, support for that would include making any changes for the program to continue working on Windows 7 thru 10, that would be a very expensive proposition indeed and one you can't reasonably expect a software developer to keep up with. Your program should work on your old computer for as long as that computer lives (do you have your original XP installed on your new computer or did you pay for a new OS)?

I paid for new pc included Windows 10. Autocad LT 2008 runs ok on my new pc - but only for 30 days use.
After that i have to use my old pc for using Autocad LT 2008.

>"do you have your original XP installed on your new computer"

What is a "original XP"?

Yes i installed Windows XP on my NEW computer, and now? I can't use my 2010..

FACT.

All other blahblah is bullt**** <red head, loud breathing, adressed to Adesk>

(I just talking about legal license and installs on OS where the software was designed for)
