Insert autocad drawing in email

Today I received an email with a black on white
picture of the autocad drawing the person was talking about. Not an atachment,
but actually a graphic kind of file right after the typewritten
message..

I would like to know how to do that.

Can anybody tell me how?

Wow! What is you Email client/software? Any chance you can forward the Email
to customer files discussion area (if it was not an attachment, it will not
show up as that there)? Is there any chance the image you saw is a JPEG that
your Email viewer can read and display without showing it as an attachment
(kind of like HOTMAIL and YAHOO mail can do)?

First your email software seems to be set to automatically display
images. Probably the software is set to execute HTML formatted mails.

As such the email would display referenced images from the
HTML-formatted mail. This could be a bitmap or if your computer is
enabled to display DWF files even a zoomable graphic.

When I do a copy (EDIT/COPY) of a selected part of an Autocad drawing, I can paste it into my e-mail (Microsoft Outlook). When selected handles appear to allow for adjustment of size. This can then be sent as a normal e-mail and viewed by recipient. The only problem is if you are using a black background in Autocad, the e-mail will print with lots of black and the lines are practically lost; turning the background white before copying helps.
