How to use F keys shortcuts on keyboard without pressing fn in AutoCAD LT?

I want to these keys as shortcuts (i.e. F3 to turn on/off snap, or F8 for ortho) but I can only do so while pressing the key "fn" at the same time. How do I change this so that I can press F keys directly?

That's a limitation of your keyboard: nothing you can do about it in AutoCAD.

Is this a laptop?

It is a pc. I guess I have to configure the keyboard on the computer settings.

Probably a setting in your Bios, you need to check with the manufacturer.

Pressing the Fn Key and Esc Key at the same time sometimes allows you to toggle between the Function Keys and the Multimedia Keys.

Hope that helps.

Kev.

Press and hold the fn key, then hit Esc, to toggle between needing the fn key and not needing it.
