How to export black/withe, searchable text and extended scaled PDF

Hi,

I have some old electrical drawings with SHX font (elprocad) text that I want and convert to PDF with searchable text. All electrical drawings are also drawn with yellow objects and text, these I want to be converted to black and white PDF.

I have tried to solve this by using the Output function in AutoCad. By using the page setup manager and select monochrome.ctb under plot style table, I was able to export a black and with drawing. The drawing was also correctly scale if I used the Extended function, but the problem was that the text was not searchable. (see picture for setting).monochrome.jpg

I have also tried and using the PDF Writer feature of Adobe. This solved the text search functionality, but all text and objects in the drawing was yellow and the scaling was incorrect as you see in the picture.

I have more than 1000 drawings to convert to PDF, so your need help to find the easiest way to make these drawings a black and with PDF with searchable text and extended scaled would by much appreciated.

I have also attached one DWG drawing which you experts can have a look if you can export it to PDF in black and whit color and as a searchable text.

Just for your information, I’m using AutoCad LT 2013 and my knowledge level is very inexperienced.

Your Adobe printer driver ignored your CTB plot style table: did you just miss selecting the plot style table, ordoes that driver simply do a screen grab? YOu will need to go to them (Adobe) for support with their products.

For your very old software, you cannot create searchable text with SHX fonts (you need to switch to TTF), just like I noted in your other identical post. Here is the link again, please read and post back if there is something you did not understand https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-c...
