Your (E)PDFSHX setting
(for searchable SHX content), disable it ow disable the comment display setting in your PDF software.

Thanks
I cant disable comments on my pdf software as i use it for my signature and highlighting parts of the document.
I will try setting PDFSHX to 0
Hi Ara, i can't as they are not my property.
I see this request quite a bit, i would have thought that most cad users would be in the same boat?
Hi Marcus,
Did you try "dwg to pdf" in plot , or other pdf devices (not in publish)
Yeah agreed, the obvious answer is to not use .shx fonts. Unless you don't need that information on your plots, then you can delete them.
Since you most likely need the information and these are not your drawings you will need to replace them with TTF fonts.
Hi @AutoMarcus - I see that you've received a few suggestions from the community, if not to exactly solve the problem, how to avoid it. Are any of these working for you? If yes, it would be great if you could accept the solution that worked and this way help other users if they encounter the same issue.
Hi Mark Gunn
I have been away from the pc for a few days.
I am grateful for the responses, i will investigate which ones work and report back today.
Thank You everyone for your help
I have set EPDFSHX to 0, hopefully next pdf plot it works.
Thanks again
have a great weekend
Thankyou @MarkGunnAutodesk
Did the EPDPDF set to 0 work for you?
EPDFSHX is stops the additional comments (with shx text value as content).
In 2017 and newer, PDFSHX
